Writing one of my last posts of the year, I'd love to share with you my most recent Christmas project for "Bead & Jewellery" magazine - a lovely new chapter in my joruney - a project for lovers of jewellery making: a set of "Cranberry cake earrings".
The cake earrings are in what in my perception are classic Christmas colours that will compliment a fun Christmas jumper - and if earrings are not your thing, you can make charms instead and adorn your favourite bracelet throughout the holidays. I also like to the idea of a large cake charm that you can turn into a bag charm and dangle from your winter bag :)
The 3 page tutorial is in issue 127 of Bead and Jewellery magazine, and it's available both in print and digital formats.
The limited edition earrings are available from my Etsy Shop - only 2 pairs left.
The project includes a full list of tools and materials, full step by step colour photography and written instructions for you to easily follow along.
In this issue, you'll also get to know more about me and my polymer clay work, how I got started, what moves me to create and much more, in the 4 page interview with a range of pictures of my work throughout the years.

A mini gonk cake!
This was one of the most fun cakes I've ever made! And wait till you scroll down for a little surprise...
Ta-da!
So, as you can see, this is a vertical chocolate and cream layer cake with a log-like crust, little gonks sitting on top with mushrooms and moss all around them...
What's in this issue?

I'd like to think that this isn't my last post of 2023, because I have more things to say - I'm a little worried I won't find the time - but if I don't make it on here before the end of the year, I'd like to wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year, and let you know that I'm so grateful for your support and the time you take to just catch up on what I'm up to, even when I feel I'm not up to much. I'm so grateful you continue to love my work and find a moment in the day to squeeze in a like or kind comment. It means a lot that you find my work beautiful and inspirational sometimes.
