Miniature Pear Pies

Hi there, nice to see you again.

Colder weather calls for cosy recipes, don't you think? So for the September issue of "Dolls House & Miniature Scene" magazine, I created these individual portions of mini pear pies. I once had a tray-sized version and OMG, it was one of the best pies I had ever had. So when I was thinking of "recipes" for September, that pie came rushing to mind.

The tutorial includes both written step-by-step instructions and pictures to help you make these pies as easy as if we were side by side; the only downside is that you can't ask me questions, but that's what the contact form is for ^_^

What else is in this issue?

With the new season comes new colours, textures, food... and updating miniature scenes to suit!

Aside my pear pie project for you to create your very own delicious dessert, Sadie Brown speaks to some wonderful artisans in not one but two autumnal features which show how artisans update their dolls houses to suit the season; adding different food items, shades of orange, red and yellow in floral displays and more.

So many wonderful ideas and inspiration for the upcoming season!

Moi Ali completes her mini-series, Six of the Best, taking a look back at her work over the year with a conclusion that looks at those that didn’t quite make the cut! Also, they have another conclusion this issue as Ruth Flewelling Lesbirel completes her staycation caravan, which she launched with the Jubilee celebrations!
